Green Cleaning Solutions - Testimonial
"So, in keeping with the stain motif, I thought I would share a really cool story about removing a stain. Yes, I am going to talk about a HomePro product, but it worked, so why not! I hosted a Clean Event this weekend. I had a guest, who has a new baby only about 2 months old. This is their first child and she is so sweet. The mom was sharing with me that she washed a load of laundry, including a few of her daughter’s new outfits. Now, you all know how cute little baby girl clothes are, all pink with lots of ruffles. Well, included in the load of wash was a pen from her husband’s shorts. Needless to say ink got on everything. She was so sad that the new outfits were ruined. . At the party, her neighbor won a prize, the Heavy Duty Spotter. After the Clean Event, they walked home together and they decided to try out the Heave Duty Spotter. Guess what- it worked. (The Spot & Stain Remover or the Pet Spotter would’ve worked, but because the clothing had been washed and dried- this formula was the best choice) The spots are all but gone! I am so impressed and happy the ink came out. This new mom has just saved herself so much money- think of all the clothes she won’t be throwing away because of stains and spots. Imagine if YOU didn’t have to throw away anymore clothes because you could get out the spots and stains. My daughter is almost 8 and she ruins a good shirt at least once a week. I could never get the spots outs. Well not anymore!! That really means less shopping, which is good and also…. sad! (I love to shop)
I don’t want to claim that this Spotter will get all stains out- some stains are set and they have become part of the fabric. Nothing will get them out. But it doesn’t hurt to try."

Green Cleaning Solution - Shower Curtain
If your shower curtains are anything like mine, you know that they get dirty. You would think they would be the cleanest things in your house, but the damp conditions, hard water, and soap scum that builds up makes this a disaster waiting to happen.
To get your shower curtains clean and looking better than new, put the curtains in the clothes washer. Add 1 cup of bleach and 1 cup of detergent. Add several dirty towels (not microfiber) or a blanket to the washer and run on a gentle cycle using either warm or hot water. Right after the spin cycle, take the shower curtains out of the washer, take them back to the tub and shake gently to remove as much water as possible. Hang them back up to drip dry. The combined effect of gravity and the hot steam from using the shower or bath will cause any remaining wrinkles to disappear within a day.
All else fails, do what I do and buy a $5 Wal-Mart shower curtain every 6 months! Ha

Clean your indoor air NATURALLY
Skip the store-bought air fresheners and instead try boiling cinnamon, cloves, or any other herbs you have a fondness for. Fresh chocolate chip cookies also have been known to create a friendly aroma. Also, plants may not make your house smell different but are good for filtering interior air.
One of the single most effective way to keep the air in your home healthy is to keep things out of your home that cause air pollution, including cigarette smoke, excess moisture and harmful chemicals.

Streak-less Glass - It's about time!
When it comes to glass in general, I personally need mine streak-less! Streaking is caused by a few things when cleaning glass. The first of those things is the actual cleaner that you use. The most common glass cleaner, who must not be named, uses a high percentage of ammonia (cleans glass pretty good), but the problem is the high Ph. For those that know what Ph is, glass cleaner who must not be named, has a Ph of about 12 (very strong base). The reason this is pertinent information is that high Ph's have a high re-soiling rate and is a cause of much streaking in our lives.
The second cause of streaking is often the cloth/paper towel that we use to wipe the glass with. Paper towels when cleaning are the bane of my existence. I know, I know, "they are convenient and I like to be able to throw them away after I use them." I've heard it all. The truth is that they do not do as much "cleaning" as you think. Sorry, don't get me going on paper towels. Using such cloths and towels often times leave behind lint and streaks because of surface area coverage (more on that later). Even regular microfiber cloths have been known to leave a little bit of lint.
SOLUTIONS!
HomePro Glass Cleaner Kit has both the cleaner and cloth solution. The cleaner uses deionized water (all of the minerals removed, pure water), a neutral Ph, and the streak-less solution. The microfiber cloth is a waffled cloth that makes glass cleaning fun it works so good. I call in the fine linen of microfiber. The ONLY time you will ever find streaks with this combination is if all of the soil is not removed. Flip your cloth to a clean side, do a small squirt to the cloth and go over the glass one more time.
Good luck and POST YOUR STORIES!

Be careful with antibacterial cleaners
The antibacterial and antimicrobial 'cleaners' that many people think are necessary, especially during cold season, don’t clean hands better than soap and water, and also add to the risk of breeding "super germs," bacteria that survive the chemical onslaught and have resistant offspring. The FDA has found that antibacterial soaps and hand cleansers do not work better than regular soap and water, and should be avoided.
Not to mention, when using disinfectant wipes, you leave chemicals down on the surface. The point of cleaning is to wipe up both the solution and dirt/grime. CLEAN GREEN!

Spots & Stains...Be Gone!
I was just reminded how well the Spot & Stain Remover works when combined with the sun. I had some spots on a white shirt and I wasn't sure what they were. My menu is diverse when it comes to eating so it could have been anything from coke to raspberry cream tart. In any case the stain did not come out all the way on the first try so I wet it again with the spotter and put it in the sun. One hour later I had a perfect white shirt again and that stain was sent to stain heaven or wherever stains go when they die. Huh? I guess that is one of lifes mysteries we are just going to have to wait on.
